ICBF Partners with Velo-city Conference Lisbon 2021
The International Cargo Bike Festival have teamed up with the Velo-city Conference in Lisbon this September, to take the cargo bike message to Lisbon!
ICBF Director and Founder Jos Sluijsmans will moderate a cargo bike session on September 9th, titled: Climate Crisis: Cargo bikes to the rescue! The session will also feature a panel of experts including Charlotte de Broux, Irene McAleese, Kevin Mayne and Pierre Hanauer.
On 7th September another session, “Exploring the endless potential of cargo bikes”, will take place at Velo-city. And the excellent cargo bike movie “Motherload” will also screen during the conference.
There are some great opportunities available for sponsoring and for exhibiting at the Velo-city Exhibition.
Conference tickets are still available and if you can’t make it to Lisbon in person, you can register for an online ticket now.
Velo-city started a new article series written by Nolwen Graver, shining the spotlight on the cargo bike, starting with “Unleashing the Power of Cargo Bikes for Cities“, followed by “Why Lisbon simply cannot resist the charms of cargo bikes“. August 24th, the third and final CargoBike series article was published. Velo-city interviewed Urbike & Delhaize about the BCklet project, a cargo bike project that aims to rethink traditional delivery models in Brussels.
